Collaboration Spotlight: Aura Organics & Temple Collective

Aura Organics and Temple Collective have a collaboration!  Marla Diakonis, owner of Aura Organics.  She is also a yoga teacher and reiki practitioner.  Marla grew up in downtown Milford and currently lives in White Lake, where she gardens, hikes, and enjoys water sports, chai tea lattes, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her three sons.

Aura Organics began in 2021 and Marla’s goal was to create clean skin and self care products, including essential oil room sprays, which Temple Collective carries. That was the catalyst that started the conversation of creating something special just for them.

Marla was first introduced to Sherise, owner of Temple Collective in Milford, in December when she went in for a facial. The two hit it off, and just chatted like we were old friends.  Marla knew Sherise was truly magnetic and one of a kind.

“A couple of months later, I asked her if she would be interested carrying some of my products so we had a meeting and she said yes, she loved the room sprays. I could almost see the lightbulb go off in her head and she threw out the idea of me creating a signature spray,” Marla said.

“We chatted about the scents we like. We both love more woodsy and masculine scents. So after some trial and error, I got it right,” she continued.  “The scent is strong and a little sweet. It’s a very comforting and cozy fragrance. And I love it because that’s the feeling you get when go into Temple Collective. It evokes a feeling of being in your best friends living room just hanging out where you feel totally comfortable and at ease.”
