Meet K.C. Heitchue, owner of Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting business that prides itself on providing peace of mind to Fur Baby owners.
As a graduate of Oakland University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and concentration in Childhood Development, K.C.’s early passions have led her to a new and exciting path: opening Fur Baby Comfort & Care. The pet care industry has been an exciting new venture and being a pet parent herself has opened her eyes to how important having quality pet care is whether you’re working long hours or out of town.
K.C. experienced the non-responsiveness from a hobby pet sitter and of course the worry that goes along with wondering if your pet is truly okay in another’s care. After too many times experiencing uncertainty while away, she knew that she needed to transform the space and provide peace of mind to not only herself, but plenty of other families in Southeast Michigan who were undoubtedly experiencing the same misgivings.
From the outside looking in, many may think it’s just dog walks and the expected feeding or two, but K.C.’s team and she know that for the families they service, it’s so much more! Fur Baby Comfort & Care are dedicated to servicing all types of animals from dogs who have issues with socialization, temperament or medical problems to families who have a full farm of animals to tend to and more. Furthermore, they seek to provide connection to the animals in their care to ensure they feel safe even when the owner is not present.
The inner-workings and family dynamics that owners have with their pets are so important to learn in order to stay on the same page with communication and training techniques. At Fur Baby Comfort & Care, they pride themselves on always going the extra mile to make sure all parties are comfortable with the care being provided.
