Taylor Kothi

Meet Taylor Kothi,  owner of Slow Living Co. In January of 2022, the business known as “Josie’s Cut Flowers,” which you may remember from last year’s Milford Farmers’ Market, was reinvented to authentically and wholly represent Taylor and her business.

At the core of Slow Living Co. is gardening. Taylor specializes in growing small batches of high-quality, specialty cut flowers from her backyard in Highland Township. Her flowers are grown from their smallest beginning (seed, corm, bulb, or tuber) and harvested for maximum vase life. Shortly after harvesting, Slow Living Co.’s freshly cut flowers are bundled into market bouquets for anyone to take home, gift to friends and family, or brighten up a workspace.

Slow Living Co. will be returning to the Milford Farmers’ Market on Thursday, July 14th. In addition to the market, local pickup and delivery are offered as flowers are made available throughout the season May-October.  Updates on what is available are frequently posted on Slow Living Co.’s Instagram Stories.

Surrounding the core of Slow Living Co. is wellness. The course of Taylor’s life completely changed when she began training as a yoga instructor in the midst of her college career. In fall of 2020, she graduated from Irene’s Myomassology Institute, and currently works full-time as a Licensed Massage Therapist at Serenity Family Chiropractic in White Lake.

Gardening and wellness have always been two important pillars of Taylor’s life and Slow Living Co. is the beautiful bridge between them.

Taylor is always dreaming up big things for her sweet company. Seasonal and sustainable floral design for weddings and events is currently in the works.

Be sure to follow Taylor’s Slow Living Co. to follow her journey!
