Now, why should you join us on April 30th at Milford Independent Cinema? Well, it's not just about the trivia. It's a triple threat of benefits! You'll get to meet HVCC members, expanding your network and sparking interest in their organization. Plus, we're sharing our IWDBC brew created on International Women's Day, and all concession sales will go to support our Milford Independent Cinema. It's a win-win-win situation!

Speaking of HVCC, did you know they are advocates for the community and its businesses? They provide communication channels, benefits, and services to help businesses thrive. Being a member means working smarter, not harder, with added personal touch and business-to-business presence. Join us at Milford Independent Cinema for a chance to network, enjoy friendly competition, and savor amazing beer brewed by Women In Milford.

See you there!

Tonight's Trivia Throwdown between Women In Milford and the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce at the Milford Independent Cinema was a blast!

We sipped on pints of Dolly's Revenge, River's Edge Brewing Co.'s Blueberry Lemon Lager, brewed by head brewer Nicole Fitzmaurice in collaboration with Women In Milford, all in honor of International Women's Day.

As the competition heated up, members from both groups battled it out for the championship, but ultimately, the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce emerged victorious!  Congratulations, @huronvalleychamber!

Beyond the rivalry, the event provided a fantastic opportunity for members of both organizations to connect and form new relationships, reinforcing the importance of branching out and networking within our community.

Huge thank you to Rich & Isaac of @mic_milfordcinema for being our amazing Trivia Hosts! Thanks to @riversedgebrew for letting us brew excellent beer at the best local brewery around! Thanks to Mandy of @musictimemilford, an outstanding Cinema Ambassador, @malu.sic for being the trivia answer runner, and Diane Perry, HVFO Board member extraordinaire, for operating the cinema and concessions so that we were able to enjoy the evening!

If you are interested in sponsoring a film at the cinema, please email info@milfordcinema.org or DM me here and I can help with that.

Thanks for joining us, Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce, you guys are awesome!

Thanks again, everyone! What a fun night!

Oh, and @huronvalleychamberโ€ฆ weโ€™re coming for you in 2025!

Last night's Trivia Throwdown between Women In Milford and the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce at the Milford Independent Cinema was awesome!

Amidst the friendly competition, we had free WIM cups of Dolly's Revenge, @riversedgebrewโ€™s Blueberry Lemon Lager, an amazing creation brewed by none other than their talented brewer, Nicole Fitzmaurice, in collaboration with Women In Milford, all in celebration of International Women's Day.

As Milford Independent Cinema's board members fired off trivia questions, members from HVCC and WIM engaged in a battle of wits, with the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce ultimately emerging victorious! Congrats @huronvalleychamber!

Beyond the excitement of the competition, events like these underscore the significance of building larger and more diverse connections within our community. Networking isn't just about exchanging business cards; it's about forging meaningful relationships that can lead to collaborations, mentorship opportunities, and a stronger support system.

By connecting with individuals from different backgrounds and industries, we gain fresh perspectives, access to new resources, and potential business leads. In a world where success often hinges on who you know, expanding our networks becomes paramount, especially for small businesses and entrepreneurs looking to thrive in today's competitive landscape.

Moreover, fostering a diverse and inclusive network isn't just good for businessโ€”it's essential for community growth and resilience. When we bridge gaps between different groups and perspectives, we create a more vibrant and dynamic community where everyone's voices are heard and valued. These connections not only enrich our personal and professional lives but also contribute to the overall economic vitality of our community.

By coming together in events like the Trivia Throwdown, we not only have fun but also lay the foundation for a stronger, more interconnected community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
