March Meetup: International Women’s Brew Day
International Women’s Day is almost here, and we’re so excited to celebrate together! This year marks our third annual International Women’s Brew Day, and trust us—it’s going to be amazing.
We’ll spend the day learning something cool, creating something meaningful for our community, and supporting a group of women who often don’t get the recognition they deserve. It’s all about connection, fun, and making a difference together as a group.

𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯’𝘴 𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘸 𝘋𝘢𝘺:
We will be working with Nicole Fitzmaurice, Brewer at @riversedgebrew, who will lead us in the process of brewing our beer. This is a day-long process and we'll be getting our hands a little dirty, so be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and something comfortable if you'd like to be a part of the work! Come when you can, stay as long as you like. Feel free to work remotely from River's Edge , enjoy a beer, connect and network, and participate in whatever parts you can!
We are collecting items for Anchored Hope Outreach, a nonprofit outreach that is working to fight human trafficking by serving the needs of sex trafficked victims. You can find them “boots on the ground” in the neighborhoods of southwest Detroit passing out food and hygiene kits, spending time in prayer, and connecting those in need with resources to heal and restore.
Please bring your donations to the Brewery on the day of the event at any time.

We are also accepting $5 gift cards to McDonalds, Dunkin' Donuts, gas station cards, etc.
