Jessica Bryer

Meet Jessica Bryer, a multi-medium artist from Commerce Township, and owner of Sage & Hazel.

Jessica’s creative journey began in the theatre as her unconscious way to navigate human behavior by presenting it. After 20 years in the theatrical world and many life challenges later, her vision evolved into creating her own medium and practicing it with others as a healing method she has found to be profound. “Recognizing and celebrating people's differences is something I hold dear to my heart and I needed a way to express it,” she explains. 

She has been able to create meaningful artwork with dried botanicals by repurposing her handmade items; crushed, dried botanicals, florals and herbs create these pieces to represent the moments in life that are or were celebrated and remembered. 

“Though we are allowed to feel however we feel while it is happening, it is who we show up as. Honor ourselves the way we need to but with the knowledge that eventually we must keep moving forward,” says Jessica.
