Shannon Riopelle

Meet Shannon Riopelle, one of the talented co-owners behind Dough Moms in Highland, MI! "We’re two mommas who love baking and sharing all things sourdough," Shannon says with a smile. During their maternity leaves, Shannon and her co-founder, who just happens to be her sister Lauren, embarked on a sourdough journey, experimenting and perfecting their recipes. After a few months of mastering the art, they decided to bring their delicious sourdough bread and baked goods to the community.

You can find Dough Moms' mouthwatering sourdough at Maher Feed & Pet Supply, the Milford Farmers Market on Thursdays, or by placing special orders via their Facebook or Instagram pages. Shannon shares, "The customers are our favorite part! We have been so fortunate to meet the very best people." Each week, they offer a variety of unique and flavorful sourdough rounds at the Milford Farmers' Market, including their renowned sourdough bread boules that have quickly become a local favorite.

Always eager to innovate, Shannon and her partner are constantly exploring new recipes and ideas. "If you have any, please send them our way!" Shannon encourages.
