Theresa Bashara
Meet Theresa Bashara, hair stylist at Level 6 Salon in Milford for the last 8 years.
Theresa started her cosmetology journey through OTC at Milford High School, where she graduated in 2014 and I was awarded a scholarship from the ZONTA Club of Milford. “I had written a paper explaining my financial struggles growing up and my passion for cosmetology,” she explains about @zontaclubofmilfordmi Scholarship. “I found out I was awarded the scholarship and attended the Milford High ceremony . . . I went to [the] ZONTA meeting to meet with them and take some pictures for the newspaper. That scholarship really helped me with school. It paid for my kit for cosmetology school which included my mannequin heads, scissors, books, and other supplies I needed for school! I was extremely grateful for that.” From there, Theresa attended Marketti Academy of Cosmetology where she received her degree.
Her passion is hair color, specifically blonding, which she specializes in. She has multiple certifications in blonding techniques and coloring under her belt from Joico, Paul Mitchell, and three certifications from Behind The Chair. She also has two color certifications from Joico and two from Paul Mitchell.
“Hair is my passion and it has been since I was fourteen years old,” explains Theresa. “I had no idea what I wanted to do when I grew up. As soon as I was taught how to put on makeup and do my hair, I was hooked. And that’s when I knew I wanted to make women feel beautiful. I love being a part of women’s journeys into feeling more confident about themselves. It’s my favorite part of my job!”
