Marlee Morrison

Meet Marlee Morrison, owner of Strictly Cozy & Crafty in Wixom, Michigan, a craft business that specializes in Macrame, and also offers creative zipper pouches, etched glasses, and upcycled wood pallet projects.

Strictly Cozy & Crafty began as an Etsy shop in June, 2022. Marlee always knew that her goal was to own a business. She had been wanting to start a business since high school but was always unsure of what kind. “Fear held me back for quite a while,” she explains. “In early 2022, I purchased a macrame kit to try that came with a few different projects and after 2 of them, I knew I had found a new love!”

Marlee says, “Not only is it therapeutic, but the end design is always so stunning,” says Marlee. “I dove right in and bought all of the supplies, taught myself how to make all of the knots, and tried multiple products before deciding that I was ready to make this a business!” Since then, she left her fears behind and opened up shop.
