February Encore Meetup: Volunteer at Haven
We're thrilled to announce our first Women In Milford Encore! Meetup, happening in mid-February. This time, we're focusing on giving back by volunteering at HAVEN in Oakland County, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. It's a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on women's lives in our community.

Yesterday’s Women In Milford Encore! Meetup at HAVEN was such a meaningful experience. We spent the morning organizing the Art Therapy and Play Therapy rooms, creating a more welcoming space for the women and children who rely on HAVEN’s services. Taking the time to clean and organize may seem small, but it plays a big role in making a difference for those in need.
Beyond the work we did, the most powerful part was coming together as a community of women supporting women. Whether through volunteering, business, or everyday connections, lifting each other up is what Women In Milford is all about. HAVEN’s mission aligns so closely with ours, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their important work.
