Lexie Younger

Meet Lexie Younger, owner/lead designer here at Floral + Flame and proud sponsor of the 2022 Women In Milford Gala!

Lexie started working for One Enchanted Evening (the previous name of this beautiful little flower company) in 2006 fresh out of high school and apprenticed under the former owner until I took over in 2011. She started from the bottom! Cleaning buckets and doing the dirty work to designing centerpieces and leading events on her own. “It’s so important to know every piece of the puzzle,” she says.

Lexie stumbled into florals. She originally wanted to take the culinary class at OTC and the class was full. So she thought flowers sounded interesting. Turns out she's pretty great at it and absolutely loves it!

Lexie loves what she does because she loves her clients and creating something just for them. “I’m a hugger and getting that grateful hug after they see the design come to life is the ultimate reward,” she explains.

She love being out on the boat and enjoying the sun any chance she gets. She also loves winter evenings in front of her fire place. Speaking of fire, Lexie also enjoys spinning her fire hoop! Lexie adds, "Honestly anything where I’m letting go of the stress and relaxing is my favorite place to be.”
