Meet Taylor Kothi,  owner of Slow Living Co. In January of 2022, the business known as “Josie’s Cut Flowers,” which you may remember from last year’s Milford Farmers’ Market, was reinvented to authentically and wholly represent Taylor and her business. 

Meet Chelsea Krejci, Owner of Ooh Snap! Mobile Photo Booth! Chelsea is from Garden City, Michigan, where she worked as a loan underwriter. “I knew I always wanted to do something with a horse trailer but wanted it to be different and unique something that I haven't seen around Michigan,” she says. “I love the lasting memories a photo or image can capture.” So, she clocked out of corporate and became a small business owner.

Meet Anne Vuillmot, owner of The Lemon Tree. The Lemon Tree opened its doors in January 2017. Antiques, handmade things, and other gems that turn a house into a unique and comfy home have always been a passion of mine. After decades as a manager in the childhood education sector, Anne hit mid-life and decided to put her art degree to work doing what she really loves. Voila! The Lemon Tree was born.

Meet Kara Giummo, owner of Betty’s Bakes. Kara specializes in cakes, cupcakes, and pies, while sometimes dabbling in dog cakes and dog treats.

Meet Dr. Marla Hayden, owner and optometrist at Heinsight Eyecare in Milford. Dr. Marla Hayden became became an optometrist for one simple reason: She loves to make a positive impact on the lives of other people. She’s been doing just that for more than 20 years. Dr. Hayden is the proud owner and operator of Heinsight Eyecare.

Meet Adrienne Ruder, owner of Orenda Beads. Adrienne grew up in Milford and graduated from Milford High School in 2016 and Michigan State University in 2021.

Meet Anna Dreslinski, Milford local and Executive Director of Renaissance Players, a program located in Farmington Hills that focuses on accessibility to theater for youth.

Meet Lauren Presutti, founder of River Oaks Psychology, an online counseling practice providing telehealth services to kids, teens, adults, couples, and families anywhere in Michigan. Paige Kern has taken on a new position as a med spa manager and lead aesthetician at DermaCare MD in Clarkston. 

Meet Kristie Fisher, owner of Method Barre in downtown Milford.  Kristie began studying dance at the early age of 5 and received her performance training from Western Michigan University.  A talented and accomplished singer and dancer, Kristie’s lifelong love of dance and fitness had her touring the globe performing, before opening Method Barre.

Meet Lauren Giles, stylist at Salon 3 in downtown Milford.  Lauren graduated from the Douglas J Aveda institute in Ann Arbor. She started her career in Milford at a cute boutique bridal salon at the edge of town, where she began to truly fall in love with styling and coloring hair for others. “I learned so much from cutting and coloring to bridal  hair and makeup. It set me up for a great career ahead,” Lauren says.

Meet Christina Armstrong, owner of Armstrong Virtual Assisting. Christina is an expert virtual assistant who supports entrepreneurs as they grow their businesses.

Meet Cassidy Schoof.  A graduate of Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, Cassidy received her degree in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education and taught in the classroom for 2 years, before starting her Tutoring Business, Cassidy Blayne, LLC.

Meet Emma Dedvukaj.   As the owner of Emmie’s Sweet Treats, this 21-year-old college student found her passion for making delicious and beautiful desserts.
